The Port of Allyn has established an online survey to gather public input for its upcoming Comprehensive Scheme of Harbor Improvements — which is its project roadmap for the 2020-2023 timeframe. The survey only contains five questions, and can be filled out and sent in with a few mouse clicks. It also contain space for comments from responders.
The Port will be also be conducting two public hearings for the plan — February 3, and February 10. “We want to reach out to the public in every way we can to give them as much opportunity as possible to provide their input on the plan before it is finalized,” said Port Commission Chair Ted Jackson. The Port conducted a similar survey for its 2018 version of the plan. “The public input drove some changes in the original draft, and could possibly do the same again this time. It will all depend on how responsive the citizens are,” added Jackson.
The survey link can be found on the Port’s website — portofallyn.com — as well as on its Facebook page. The link was also shared with a number of Mason County groups on Facebook as well. The link is here.
